| Dale Downie is a local boy, born into an automotive family. His father Bob, and uncle, Bill, were formerly associated with the old Middlesex Motors. Bob was one time dealer principal of Dutton Ford Sales and later Sales Manager at Talbot Mercury, while "uncle Bill" became Fleet and Lease Manager at Oakridge Ford. Dale is London-born and raised. He attended Westminster Secondary School where his favorite subject was marketing. He got his start with Ray Cullen Chevrolet Oldsmobile, a respected name in the London business community, and there he gained the experience necessary to open his first successful GM dealership in Listowel, Ontario. |
